Taken with camera+ edited with snapseed and ps express. El Santuario de Chimayo is a Roman Catholic Church in Chimayo, New Mexico. It is said to have healing powers in the dirt where a cross was found many years ago. Upon entering the church you will see 100’s of crutches, walkers and casts from people that were healed left there. As you walk straight ahead there is a little room called el pocito (the little well) is where you can shovel the holy dirt into a container to take home with you. This dirt has been blessed by the priest and has to be replaced sometimes daily.
Looking very nice. I’m only one state away. Come on over to AZ. There is a lot to photograph. Take Care, Sue
Thank you! I know we went to the 4 corners which was pretty cool! I could get into traveling around taking pictures! I was in Arizona 2 years ago, would love to go back and take more pictures.
